Danielle’s work is informed by both lived and professional experience of family and sexual violence, with a focus on coercive control, child safety, animal protection, and access to justice. Her experience spans community education, law tutoring, community law, and supervised family contact.

She facilitates workshops for women rebuilding life after separation, supports clients

through Auckland Community Law, and works as a Family Supervisor in court-ordered contact arrangements. She has completed specialist family violence training through Eclipse Family Violence Services and Shine.

Danielle is a final-year Bachelor of Laws student at the University of Auckland and holds a Master of Legal Studies with Distinction in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. She is a Research Assistant on an interdisciplinary modern slavery project and has undertaken research into whether coercive control should be criminalised in Aotearoa, with a particular focus on the use of animals as mechanisms of abuse.
