Minha works as an intern clinical psychologist in a public community adult mental health service while she finishes her doctoral thesis on young women's experiences of coercive control in their romantic/intimate relationships with men. In her clinical practice, she has a particular interest in working with those struggling with the impacts of complex relational trauma. She has experience working with the victim/survivors as well as those who have caused harm.

Drawing from her own and family members' experiences, she understands that all too often, abuse and violence is invisiblised. This is why she is passionate about the wider sociocultural contexts in which domestic/family violence/abuse and sexual abuse occur. In her clinical and academic work, Minha strives to contextualise people's experiences to better understand and represent them.

As a 1.5 generation migrant, Minha tends to be mindful of the complex and diverse ways in which ethnocultural influences shape people, as well as the ways of thinking and knowing.
