ECLIPSE offers all national Entry to Expert (E2E)- Essential Level capabilities across our workshops
As a specialist family violence training provider with our knowledge embedded in lived experience of family violence and practice capability, ECLIPSE ECLIPSE Family Violence Services | Lived Experience-Practitioner Family Violence Training was committed from the start to ensure our workshops fully aligned with the national Entry to Expert (E2E) capability framework. It was hard work but we got there, having completed our Essential Level training programme and nearly completed our Entry Level training programme.
Our E2E Essential level programme is available across 5 x 7-hour face to face/online workshops and 5 x 2-hour e-learning workshops (40 hours all up - and we do not apologise for that 😊) and has been ‘mapped’ by The Centre– and recognised as containing all national Essential level capabilities. This is noted in the National Family and Sexual Violence Training Directory - Family Violence Training Directory | The Centre for Family Violence and Sexual Violence Prevention
We are proud of that – the hard work was worth it as organisations across the motu are now engaging our services to train all of their kaimahi across our Essential Level programme to ensure consistent and appropriately informed practice knowledge, skills and capability across their whole organisation/network/collective.

Diversity E-Learning workshops
ECLIPSE did not want to have diverse critical risk information blended into our more general content workshops. So we decided to commit the extra resource into ensuring that experiences of family violence across diversity groups had their own individual learning platforms.
We partnered and connected with specialists in these areas to ensure that we presented the national capabilities in a way that upheld the dignity of those communities we were sharing knowledge of. It is easy to share content, but when it is not our specialist knowledge, we talk to those who do have that specialist knowledge.
